Blakes Championship Course offers a truly distinctive playing experience, capturing the character of a traditional seaside links despite its inland location. With its rolling fairways and classic sleepered bunkers, the course stands apart in the region for both layout and design. The unique topography is the work of celebrated architect Howard Swan, whose vision has brought a coastal feel to the countryside.
Thanks to an advanced grid of gully pots across all fairways and USGA-spec sand-based tees and greens, the course remains in top condition regardless of weather. A fully computerised irrigation system covers every fairway, green, and tee, ensuring year-round lushness even during dry spells. Generously sized greens eliminate the need for temporary alternatives, and with buggy paths spanning the entire course, golf buggies are available to use throughout all 12 months.
The course is available to all members on all weekdays and weekends from 12pm. Members are entitled to discounted buggies at £25.00
